Hardwood stairs & a boy named pickle...

Removed the carpet from the stairs this weekend and installed hardwood. These are walnut.. The risers are just pine painted white. Not bad for an old guy.. :-)

Vika was playing football camp. She put on J's basketball shoes and back pack.

The Lemen Abts clan had us over for bbq on Sunday.. yum! The kids went fishing in the creek behind Eric's house. They caught fish and put them in a tub for awhile to admire before letting them go. Vika thought it would be nice of us to give them a basketball to play with. Heavens knows, fish need a basketball :-) This was Amy telling Vika that the fish really didn't need the ball to play with.. LOL Mel's friends from Ohio were in, super people. There son's nick name is nickle pickle..

Coloring riding out the storms

Thank God we have not taken too much damage in the Spring storms. So far to date we have only lost 3 tress. This was yesterday May 25, 2011. Most of the schools & businesses from the area sent everyone home early because of the tornados that were predicted.

Anyway... we kept calm, did home work and colored.. If you look at the video, you show I scan to the TV to show all the red on the radar.

Prayers go out to all those who have been affected.

Gymanstics... & Football this weekend...

Justin had his first Junior Cougar mini-camp for the 6th thru 8th graders.. Didn't get any pics.. was helping the coach...

Vika had her first gymnastics performance on Sunday.. she did a great job. Yeah Vika!

End of the year picnic...

The world famous... Fletcher & Vika!! There is no way we can ever thank her for taking care of our little girl the way she did this past year. Thank God we are fortunate enough to have her again next year for Vika's pre-K. Snack time..

End of the year for preschool

Vika has succesfully completed her first year of preschool. Would love to thank Robin, Shirley and the entire ILS preschool staff! Vika loved every minute of her first year of school. She is so blessed to have people to look out for her.




BTW... this is a picture from her first day of school back in August of 2010... Daddy's little girl is growing up.. :-)
