Great weekend... basement work continues

With the floor being finished... started working on the downstair's fireplance enclosure / mantle..
3 coats of stain... got the desired color we wanted.. 2 coats of poly to go

Sat night went out with my beautiful bride... had a quick dinner at the local Mexican place in the valley.. By about half way through the glass... Dr. Amy could not feel her tongue.. :-)

Thank God I am married to the best chiropractor in the world.

Friday Dr. Amy flew to Chicago for meetings with some of the Dream Practice Dr's. Had a great time, but I think she swore off Cosmos :-p

Vika went with one of her God-mothers, Prinicpal Dolak, to see Beauty and the Beast 3D... They went to lunch at Paneras first. Vika had her favorite, mac & cheese and yougart in a tube. :-D Thanks God-mother!

Justin & I worked in the basement. We layed 600 sqft of commercial flooring.. ugh! It looks great.. the carpet is gone and now we have a floor that is warrantied for 30 years.. let the kids play!

Basketball begins, Dolak the dentist & a sleepover

Justin's boys basketball practice began last night. A good group of 5th & 6th graders... Hoping for a great season.

Friday night Vika had her first sleepover.. Kelsey came over... it was actually a pretty quiet evening... The picture was taken early Sat morning as they were watching MM on Disney waitnging for cinamon rolls... :-)

Yesterday Vika came home missing tooth #2! Godmother Dolak plays dentistry on the side and removed #2 at school. BTW... dad got to play tooth fairy on this one... sssshhhh

Vika's first swim lesson

Last night Vika had her first swim lesson.. Praise God,, she is part fish. It was amazing to watch... She cried when we left so we might have to swim sometime over the weekend.
