Christmas 2011

Wow... that was different..

Due to some rescheduling of vacations,,, we spent Christmas at home this year.. it was strange ... But, it all worked out well. Very low key... mom came up and spent the day with us..

Vika got the lions from Disney's Lion King... They travel everywhere with her...

On Christmas Eve the girls went to the Fox to see Disney's Beauty and the Beast... She loved it..

What a great weekend..

Where to begin.. I completed the flying portion for my commercial pilots exam on Saturday morning.. So I am now a commercial pilot.. :-)

Went to see TSO - TransSiberian Orchestra Sat night with Justin.. Love those guys... reminds me of seeing a Motley Crue concert.. The girls went shopping..

Sunday we worked at Amy's office.. She is getting a new digital x-ray machine. Lots of prep work required..

Celebrated Justin's birthday.. He got the new Iphone 4S... loved it..

Our baby lost her first tooth... Had to explain the entire tooth fairy thing.. btw... the tooth fairy leaves $5 now days... I thought it was .25 cents... hmmm

Grandpa Fridley would have ok'd the $5 though..

62 and rain..

Crazy warm here in STL for mid-December. Cheer was canceled because the new gym is not finished. We didn't get the memo... Oh well.. we had our big umbrella to make things better.

What a crazy full moon weekend..

Well where to begin...

Was supposed to be in Beaver Creek CO.. skiing... Woke up Friday morning surprised the kids and headed off to the airport. Made super time, got on the little jet and was ready to push back... The door opened... that was all she wrote. The ramp agent came back on and made the announcement that ice fog had settle in on Denver.. We waited for an hour and then they canceled that flight. After another canceled flight and a couple trips to the ticket counter... we scrapped the hole weekend and headed home.

BTW... we did try to get to Orlando instead.. even with our ski bibs packed; but could not get there until late that evening..

So instead we planned a Sat of events for the kids... Vika went to Santa Claus camp at ILS .. Loved it..

We took Justin to the city musuem in downtown STL..

Crazy busy week ahead...

Friday night the PTL had a Chris Cakes fund raiser with Santa Claus...




Weather turned cold here in the STL... brrrr

Vika switched her dance class to Monday nights and is doing outstanding... Love Mrs Julie!

Justin had his football banquet on Sunday at Luther High... He recieved an award for 6th grade player..
